Everyone loves a dump cake (despite that horrible name) and there's a good reason: they're magical! What else takes just 4 ingredients, less time to throw together than it takes to preheat your oven, and only one dish? Not to mention how delicious they end up tasting! This apple spice dump cake tastes just like fall, and satisfies a dessert craving quickly!

Ingredients
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 2 (21-ounce) cans country apple pie filling
  • 1 (15.25-ounce) package spice cake mix
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • ice cream for serving, optional
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Spray 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish with cooking spray. On a baking sheet lined with foil, toast the pecans for 6-8 minutes or until fragrant, tossing frequently.
  2. Mix the apple pie filling and about half of the toasted pecans together in the prepared glass baking dish. Sprinkle the cake mix over top and then pour the butter evenly over the cake mix. Bake for 35-38 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle on the rest of the toasted pecans and serve immediately with ice cream.
